memories of chilling in outside -first days of finnish summer-

koivu
in finnish koivu, in english White birch, in japanse 白樺
those trees are my most favorite trees nowadays. :)
its really a symbol tree of finland i would say.
before the winter, in autumn,
koivu turned yellow, which were really beautiful.
and after long long winter
koivu began to bud at once.
after seeing naked trees like 5 months, koivu's lovely right green leaves seem so sparkle.
at first, the leaves were really tiny, and so soft. once i ate them because my best friend told me that her grandmother said to her that its really healthy. and we tasted just because we are so curios. well,,, the taste was quiet ok... :P
but now, end of June, the leaves started to be dark green and really big.
with koivu (white birch), through this year, i could feel passing of the seasons. :)
this is my most favorite marimekko design.
because this design is really describing the first days of summer, looking of white birch. :)
i bought koivu print mug cups from marimekko for the gift for my japanse family. :)
every time when i look at them, i probably always remind of the wonderful natures of finland.

2 weeks ago, in finland, there were awesomeness summer weathers everyday.
i went to beach with my friends everyday and enjoyed the sun and blue sky.
but this 10days has been rainy days.
well, then i just need to have fun in inside.
chilling. <3 :) listening music, talking with my friends, etc... but these days, its been so hard for me. because i really need to start to be ready to go home. and, i actually sort of excited to see all people from japan, and eat healthy japanese foods, but on the other hand, its really hard to say good bye to the people who i love, here in finland, and also i dont want to even think about it. mmmm.... well ill try to keep my head up. :) Last weekend, my host family took me to the moomin land which is located in south Finland, near to turku. i had a lot of fun there :)

small adventure
I LOVE FINNISH SUMMER! ♡
i love tokyo, but i dont really like summer in tokyo... humid and way too hot.
so i love this warm summer in finland with coolness wind.
but actually today was pretty hot in finland too, almost 30℃?
so my best friends said "lets go to swimming! :) "
i had no ideas where we are gonna swim,haha
but it became one of my sweet memory of finnish summer vacation, and it was so adventure for me! hihi
first we biked a little bit into the forest which is just behind of my best friend's house.
after little biking there was a railway which reminds me of "spirited away". :)
3 minutes walking in the forest...
and there was
cutest littele pond! :D

this is one of the thing i would miss about finland, chilling with friends in awesomeness natures, little biking and go to the forest, listening music, talking, and chilling. ♡
especially in this wether, chilling in outside is so wonderful thing to do.
tomorrow im gonna go to beach again! hope this gorgeous wether would last forever... :)

last days in finland
actually im spending my last days of exchange student life. :(
i was in local finnish high school as an exchange student this year and the school had a graduation ceremony last saturday so now its officially summer vacation :) but i still have few weeks left here in Finland :) so i will have SO MUCH FUN with my wonderful friends and amazing host family :)
today i want to talk little about why did i choose Finland to spend an year as an exchange student.
around 5 years ago, i watched one japanese movie, called "ruoka lokki(かもめ食堂)" which is story about one japanese lady opens japanese restaurant in Helsinki :) i immediately loved the movie, and started to dream about life in Finland. (drinking coffee and making pulla) and now here i am. plus, i am huge fan of MUUMIN ♥

after the winter, through the whole year, i love finland so much and really feel finland as my second mother country... ♡
実際私は留学生活最後の日々を過ごしている、:( フィンランドの地元の学校に留学生として過ごして、その学校も土曜日に卒業式があったので、正式に夏休みになった、:) でもまだここでの生活も数週間のこっているので、楽しむ！ with 私の素敵な友達とhost family と:)
今日は私が留学先として、フィンランドを選んだ理由を少し書きたいと思う、それは５年前くらいにかもめ食堂を見てから♡haha フィンランドでの生活を夢見るようになった！（コーヒーを飲み、シナモンロールを作る）
そして here i am ♡
またムーミンの大ファン！でもある:) haha
トーベヤンソンの黒白の絵が大好き！
あの冬のあと、一年を通してフィンランドのことが大好きだし、第２の祖国と思えるようになった...♡

i came to Finland last summer, i really love this place, but winter was much harder than i had expected.
but after long long winter, spring and summer meant alot to me. i love sun <3 i love glasses <3 i love blue sky <3
"the first days of spring, my life is starting over again. " -noah and the whale-
when i was in tokyo, i've never thought about these stuff, but now i always think that how awesome blue sky is, how beautiful green trees are, loving feeling natures. it sounds bit odd, but you will understand after real winter in northern country. :) and i can think that the winter was worth it.
私は去年の八月にフィンランドに来た,
ここのこと、本当に大好きだけど、冬は想像以上に辛かった, haha
でも長ーーーーい冬のあとの春、夏は私にとってたくさんの意味があった,
太陽が大好き 芝生が大好き 青空が大好き
東京に居た時、こんなこと考えたこともなかったけど、最近よく思うのは、
どれだけ青空が素晴らしいか、どれだけ芝生が美しいか、
loving feeling natures. すこし変に聞こえるかもしれないけど、 北の国での本当の冬の後には誰でも共感してくれるはず！ そして今はあの冬も価値があったと思える :)
